what would I like to do?

If I was gifted with a uni/work obligation free week,
what would I spend my time doing?
First, I'd steal the bean bag from work because it's just perfect sloth furniture.

Then, I'd let the reading begin!

I've gotten through the first few pages of The Freedom Writers :D

Apparently this trilogy is a bestseller. And its one of those book-to-movie kinda bestsellers so I figured I might as well read it and let myself be disappointed by the movie.

So yeah,
That singer needs a dollar, I'd like a week.
(:

OOOH, and yes, in case anyone actually reads this blog,
THE DAILY BREAD has an app for smart phones now! Daily devotions in your pocket for $0.99 anyone?
doooo eeeeet.

my skin is so dry!
I don't think I'm going to enjoy what I've signed up for.

worthless

Its the people that you care about that can hurt you the most.

How very true.

It seems you have forgotten me.
I foresaw this.
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad for you (:
I hope life makes you smile!

But I pray that somewhere down the track,
you'll realise I'm still here.
Because I'm starting to miss the friend I had

weekend made.

Last year I stitched a customer up with a phone and internet plan. Back then, he and his friend were so grateful that they gifted me with vietnamese banana bread (it was like banana bread wrapped in banana leaves).

Last month, I came into the store and there he was, being helped by a workmate. I said my hellos and after a while he came up to
me and asked me which days I usually worked, vowing to bring me food next time.

Yesterday, true to his word he stumbled into my store and right up to my customer and I, rummaged through his bag of groceries and plopped a tray of donuts onto the table.

"For you, or do you prefer this?"
He rummages further and comes up with a tray of jam donuts.

After assuring him simple donuts were okay and thanking him whilst laughing, he smiles and leaves. 10 seconds later he's back and places a bag the counter.
"A bag for you to put it in"

(: absolutely made my day

please

Maybe its the repetitive nature, or the lack of something new but this unhappiness has been nagging me for months now. I used to know my most anticipated day of the week but now its dwindled down to a sense of commitment and a 'do the right thing' mentality. This scares me.

I don't really know what happened. A year ago I was so excited to be a part of what I imagined to be something amazing but I've disappointed myself. A year ago I would never have thought what I think now, that I want to fit in somewhere else, because I sure don't feel like I fit in now. It's not like I want to quit full stop. I just want to feel excited again. Desperately.

Something I find I ask myself everyday is whether or not I'm straying from God, to which I always immediately answer NO. (yes, I talk to myself). Its shameful, but what I am is wondering. I wonder why non Christians break the rules but are happier than I am. I wonder why I follow the rules but get no where. And again, its not that I'm doubting my faith, it exasperates me when people refuse to believe.

The Conclusion. My spiritual life sucks. Time to pick it up.

12.09am

Most focused I've been in the last two weeks.

I am actually being prooooductive.

Recipe: A morning of shopping, an afternoon of work, a night with mates

Wooo!

Seriously.
